Father, thank you for the grace to understand that fornication is a grievous sin. Thank you for redeeming me before the devil destroys me. Through your grace, I now have victory over my body.
Matthew 15:19 For out of the heart come evil thoughts—murder, adultery, sexual immorality, theft, false testimony, slander.
Henceforth, by your special grace over my life, I put my body under subjection.
Your word says, “For the flesh desires what is contrary to the Spirit, and the Spirit what is contrary to the flesh. They are in conflict with each other so you are not to do whatever you want.”
7 Now for the matters you wrote about: “It is good for a man not to have sexual relations with a woman.” 2 But since sexual immorality is occurring, each man should have sexual relations with his own wife, and each woman with her own husband.
From now on, my flesh shall no longer tell me what to do.I pray for your grace to do what is right. I will, therefore, glorify you with my body and my Spirit.
Father, I ask for the grace to flee from the lure of fornication.I receive the grace to be sensitive to all devices of the devil.
Let your grace oh lord be sufficient for me in my trials.
Today, I break down the yoke of bondage to the devil and declare my victory over fornication.
From now on, I shall overcome the urge to fornicate
Gracious Lord, according to your word, you said, “I have been bought by a price.” I henceforth refuse to resell my body again for fornication or adultery.
From now on, fornication is a thing of the past.
For I know, I now bear the mark of Christ that redeemed me and paid the price with his blood.
